About Chris Errington

Who I Am and Why It Matters

If we've just met, here's what you should know…

The knee blew out. The career changed. The lesson stuck.

Basketball was supposed to be the plan. A knee injury ended it before it started, and I ended up on a doorstep with a script, a clipboard, and no fallback. Best thing that ever happened to me. Door-to-door sales taught me everything the boardroom never could. You learn fast when the door is about to close in your face.

Thirty+ years later - sales, logistics, business development, industrial supply, energy infrastructure - the lesson is still the same. Understand people quickly. Find the real problem underneath the stated one. Build trust before the door slams.

I am not the technical expert. I don't pretend to be. I'm the guy who connects the right people to the right solution before the problem gets expensive. That's a role. A specific one. And most business problems exist because the right people haven't met yet.

The part that doesn't fit on a resume

Husband. Dad. Build backyard koi ponds for fun. Love launching softballs into the night sky and cheering on my kids as they chase their own dreams. That part isn't decoration - it's the reason the work has any weight to it.

Over the years I've learned what truly matters.

Family. Character. Loyalty. Grit.

And showing up in ways that make people say..."I trust that guy. I want him in my foxhole."
